Part of the mega event in Dauphin this satellite event will give cachers the opportunity to meet up with other cachers and explore part of Riding Mountain National Park. Grab some lunch and meet up at the picnic area at the listed coordinates. While there isn't much of a beach there it is a popular lake for swimming as it is generally warmer than nearby Clear Lake.
Meet at noon and the event wraps up by 1 pm though feel free to stay longer if you like. Lake Katherine is popular with paddlers (canoe, kayak or paddleboards) as it reasonably well protected from the wind. Note that there are park entry fees to access this location.
