Geocache Description:

Our first Namadgi cache, hidden in Honour of the ANZAC's and the sacrifice they made.

The cache is an old Ammo can, hidden amongst rocks in the surrounding area.

The cache is rated terrain four, purely because of the length. You can follow cotter hut road up until the AAWT (Australian Alpine Walking Trail). The cache is 4km down the AAWT and located at some boulders on one of the sides. NOTE: you can only drive to the Orroral tracking station, this means you have to walk 8km to the cache. (You can ride the first 4km, although bikes aren't allowed on the AAWT). So, there is at least 16kms granted you aren't going further along the track.

I recommend going another 4km along the track past this, to a bunch of caches that are worth the trip. Good luck, and have fun with the hill!
