Geocache Description:

Aboard the Sandminer spacecraft the nine humanoids went about the day to day tasks surrounded by the numerous robots. The three types of robots; black-coloured Dumbs (D), light-green coloured Vocs (V) and the silver Super Voc (SV) served as the ship's crew. The speechless dumbs formed the lower ranks and carried out all of the meanial tasks. The bridge crew were made up of the more sophisticated Vocs and both the Dumbs and Vocs were controlled by the single Super Voc. The robots only appearance was in the whodunnit style Fourth Doctor episode, `The Robots of Death' in which the Doctor and Leela found themselves on board a Sandminer vessel shortly after the body of one of the humanoid crew was discovered!

On 23rd November 2013 Doctor Who celebrated its 50th Anniversary, making it the longest running science fiction television series in the world.
The series follows the adventures of a humanoid alien known as `The Doctor’ who travels through time and space in his ship, the TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimensions In Space). The TARDIS is equipped with a chameleon circuit which should enable it to alter its appearance in order to blend in with its surroundings. Unfortunately the circuit is faulty and so the ship always appears as a blue, 1960’s style police telephone box.
What is now commonly referred to as the Classic Series ran from 23rd November 1963 until 6th December 1989. During this period the series title character `The Doctor’ was played by seven different actors. In 1996 a TV movie aired in both the UK and America and introduced the eighth doctor. The movie was intended to serve as the pilot episode for a new American produced TV series, but despite being a rating success in the UK it failed to engage the American audience and therefore no series was commissioned. On 26th March 2005 the BBC relaunched the (Modern) series with the ninth incarnation of The Doctor at the controls of the TARDIS. It was well received and the series continues to present day. Currently the doctor is in his twelth incarnation.

The container is an inch long screw capped tube. It is easily accessible, but stealth is required due to the high muggle factor. The difficulty rating has been increased to reflect this.
