Okmulgee State Park, nestled in the mighty oak trees just west of Okmulgee, offers scenery, relaxation and recreation. The park is located along beautiful Okmulgee Lake, built in 1927, which spreads 668 acres. The park boasts several 1930s native sandstone structures built by the Works Progress Administration (WPA) and Civilian Conservation Corp (CCC). These native stone structures are a monument to these young men and their tireless efforts.
Fall Fest Activities include:
* Hide and Seek: The main event! Use your imagination to create the best cache. Hide it and they will seek. Hide & Seek Rules Cache Hide Form
* Geo-Bingo: How well do you know your fellow geocachers? Break the ice with this great get-to-know-you game!
* Poker Run: Race to complete this Multi-cache and your Poker Hand!
* Children's Game: Fun for the younger cachers and the young at heart. Our main objective is to have a great time and maybe find a few caches and make some new friends.
* Other fun activities, sessions and general geocaching good times.
*110 uses for BBQ Sauce: (A Separate Event on October 16th!) Bring your best BBQ recipe and have it judged by the group. (As long as it has BBQ sauce in it or on it, it is eligible to be judged.)
*CITO Scavenger Hunt: (A Separate Event on Sunday, October 18th!)
Saturday Registration will open at 8:30am. Hide & Seek caches should be placed by 11am and coordinates will be released as near Noon as possible. Sunday prize drawings will begin at 12pm.
MEAL:
Fall Fest will be hosting one meal on Saturday evening. The Meal will be catered by Arizona Mexican Restaurant out of Tulsa (our own Germex1!).
We will be serving tacos, enchiladas and quesadillas with all the fixings, drinks, etc.
While the Geocaching Event is free of charge, taking advantage of the event meal is strongly encouraged. Regardless of your meal plans each participant must complete the Waiver/Release of Responsibility. Pleas help our event planners by filling out and sending in these forms in advance of the event.

Accommodations:
Our Headquarters will be the Rock Shelter in Red Oak Campground at the posted coordinates (Park Map) (Detailed Map)
TAG has reserved the entire Red Oak Campground for both Friday and Saturday nights. RV sites are $20 per night. Please make reservations through Sarah Bridgeman. We would prefer you book a site for both nights. If you are coming in earlier than Friday, after you book your site through Sarah call the park and request that same site for the other nights. Thursday night is blocked off for us also so it will be a pay as you show up deal. Sarah will not be taking money for this night and your site will not be given to anyone else. You only need to call the park and reserve if you plan on coming in before Thursday. Tent camping will be a first come basis. (Camping Area Map)
