Event is a meet and greet for 30 minutes to discuss Water Caching, Safety, and help for novice paddlers. Then we push off East on the James Branch Water Trail.

It is a 6+ mile round trip, with a lot of bends, turns, and tight spots. PDF's should be worn, and experienced boaters is preferred. Also bring a snack and water for the trip out and back.

Who knows what we may run into along the way. The Great Bald Cypress Trees stand tall and mighty, along with "The Patriarch Tree" which is a 500+ year old Ancient Bald Cypress.
