KC Picnic Crew: The committee thought this was an a-MAZE-ing addition to the picnic weekend. From the logs and comments it sounded like the event was a hit. Look for it in 2016.

It was a beautiful evening to enjoy some ice cream and socialize with our fellow cachers. Thanks Dave, Irene and Steve for placing caches for all to enjoy while in the park.

Geocache Description:

Start your picnic weekend off with a family friendly ice cream social. You're invited to join us for ice cream and the 15th Annual KC Area Picnic cake, a brand new Wherigo around the nearby Shoal Creek Living History Museum (see Related Web Page) and a few caches placed especially for the kids. It's meet and greet time...and then you can work off the calories by heading after all the other caches in the park.

Please post a will attend if you plan to stop by, so we can get some idea of how much ice cream we'll need. It will be a free treat for everyone, provided by the KC picnic committee. A local custard shop will be catering.

The picnic registration packets will be available for pickup at this event.
