10. Wray Cleave Workout "Half way. Ish." Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

dartymoor: Archiving this series after two and a bit years as the paths have become even more overgrown in this time and not a pleasure to walk. This is obviously not a priority with the National Park to keep clear - limited budget and limited parking make this understandable.

Well done those who perservered and enjoyed this tough little series.

The caches will be collected in very soon.

Geocache Description:

From 9, head towards the waypoint which leads up to the road. (Or you can go up behind the Buddles up the old lane).

If you're interested, continue along the incline to the Reference waypoint, which is the adit leading into the mine for the ore produced. It's collapsed and fenced off, but an interesting diversion. Return to the steps waypoint afterwards.

Climb the road, past the beautifully named cottage and around the corner,

DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS CACHE BY CAR UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO GET STUCK! This road is not suitable for normal cars and your satnav is a liar!

This cache is part of the Bridford Brimble Series. Full details at 1, Wray Cleave Workout
