This CITO is for cleaning up the area uptown around Romare Bearden Park at 300 South Church Street in Uptown Charlotte ( http://tinyurl.com/o2266dt ).
Join us on this International CITO Weekend to help pick up some trash!
Keep Mecklenburg Beautiful is providing trash bags, safety vests, pick up sticks, and removal of the trash we collect.
Please Bring gloves, water, and snacks. The event will be two hours long and is kid friendly.
If you miss the start, we will be walking around Romare Bearden Park on S. Church St. - W. 4th st. - S. Graham St. See Map.

Safety Vests and some pick up tools will be available, but please come prepared. Removal of the trash has been arranged by Keep Mecklenburg Beautiful.
Meet at the park as early as 9:30 for chatting with other cachers over coffee (that you bring with you) The group will deploy on the streets for clean up at 10:00 am. The event is scheduled until 12:00.

By participating in this event you will earn a digital souvenir for your Geocaching profile.
