Geocache Description:

Situated to the south of the Island, Broadford is Skye's second largest village. It has a great picnic area overlooking Broadford Bay, which is in turn overlooked by the impressive red granite peak of Beinn na Callich.

This is the revival of http://coord.info/GC3FPFY. It is such a nice spot and needs a cache ;)  Use the stop to start a walk to the Old Pier, if not for shopping nearby or for a cuppa .

The cache is on the nearby footbridge over the River Broadford, which feeds into the Bay. The bridge was built in 2010 and is on the site of the original marble line railway bridge. The heritage trail to the right of the bridge, complete with information boards exploring the Island’s geological history, gives more background to the marble line.

Please bring your own pen and replace the cache carefully, and exactly where you found it Ta.

There is plenty of parking parking in the area.
