Date: Sunday, June 7th

Race Time: The race will begin at NOON sharp.
(Please arrive 15 minutes early for sign-in, race bib, stretching, etc)

Group Photo: ~11:55 (before start of race)

Picnic Lunch: ~1:30pm (after everyone finishes)

Location: Eisenbahn Trail (paved). Trail access from Ziegler Park. Restrooms in park. Dogs allowed on Eisenbahn and access trail, but not in Ziegler park itself.

Distance: 3.1 miles total (2 loops on one segment to avoid any car traffic)

RACE INFO:

All registered individuals who participate will get an official race bib to pin to their shirts. Please log your "Will Attend" and mention how many people on your team are walking/running (or volunteering).

Water and/or lemonade will be available for participants at the halfway and finish line as well as homemade treats from ThePharmGirl.

This is a fun and friendly walk/run in which all levels of ability are welcome to participate. For those who enjoy the race aspect, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place male, female, senior (over 65), and kid (under 18) finishers will receive a special prize to be determined by ThePharmGirl. The top finishers from each category will be posted on the cache page for bragging rights.

Additional note: I politely request that you do NOT bike during this event for safety reasons.

PICNIC INFO:

After the event, we will relax at Ziegler Park with a bring-your-own picnic lunch, where we can eat, talk, mingle, and congratulate ourselves for completing the 5K. The park has limited picnic tables and no grills, so this is a rustic Yogi Bear type of picnic. Bring a blanket and your picnic basket.

Volunteers Needed!

Please let me know if somebody from your team/family is interested in being a volunteer instead of a race participant. I need:
Official Timer:
Official Logbook/Race Record Keeper:
Official Photographer:
Water Station Attendant(s):
Official to Blow the Starting Horn:

Disclaimer: This is not an official race. It's just a fun gathering for geocachers who would like to exercise together. Choose your own pace based on your ability. By logging a Will Attend and/or actually attending this event, you agree that you are responsible for your own health and safety. I am not responsible for any injuries that may occur. Children under 18 must have a legal guardian present.
