The cache will not be found at the published coordinates, but these do take you to the church. St Philip's is a small church tucked away on the Holmesdale estate in Dronfield. It is part of the Parish of Dronfield with Holmesfield and part of Churches Together in Dronfield and District. It holds weekly services on Sunday mornings.
A Church Centre was originally built here in 1962 when the estate was still under construction, as an extension of the ministry of the Parish Church. As the community grew and the numbers increased, the building was extended, first in 1967, and again in 1975 and 1978 when it became a District Church. The result was a composite construction with flat roofs on all the extended parts, which by the 1980s were leaking regularly. The church was rebuilt in 1994, resulting in the building you can see today.
You will have to solve the following puzzle in order to find the cache:
A = 9th digit of phone number
B = number of letters in the 1st word on the 2nd line
C = number of square/rectangular windows in the double doors
D = number of vertical poles on the handrail
E = what is the background colour of the information sign, and how many letters does this word have
F = number of letters in the 1st line - number of letters in the 3rd line
Where N53 18.ABC W001 27.DEF
You do not need to go on church grounds to gather any of the above information, and the cache is not placed on church property.
Congratulations to Team rpm for a very quick FTF.
