On any given day when exploring the West Fork of the Trinity River you might get the opportunity to see people sculling on the river. Ever wonder where they come from? They are most likely members of the Fort Worth Rowing Club and their boathouse is located right on top of the levee. In addition to rowing on the Trinity River with Fort Worth Rowing Club participates in competitive master's regattas in Austin, Dallas, Oklahoma City, The Woodlands, and Houston as well as attending the annual US Rowing Masters National Regatta.
This geocache is a part of the TRWD Trinity Trails Geocaching Adventure which takes you on a journey throughout the entire trail system to discover hidden gems, historically significant locations and some of the most popular spots along the trails.
