The Event, at the posted coordinates, begins at 1 pm, and will last until 2:30 pm. Lunch will be served from 1pm to 2pm.
You may park at the new parking area at the bottom of the hill before the church. Or, you may park at the Parking waypoint, and make your way down the trail and down the hill. There are caches hidden along the trail, we have permission from the land owners. We hope to have new caches published the day before the event for all to find. And, there are over a hundred existing caches within a couple of miles of the event, including several series.
A family run Maple Sugar Camp will welcome us, where, you may enjoy a delicious pancake/sausage/baked beans and maple syrup(all you can pour) meal. Details to follow.
The pancake house has been moved closer to the main road, so it is an even easier walk this year. You will be able to drive near the pancake house to drop off seniors and children if needed, but please return to park at one of the parking lots.
To log the event, all you have to do is sign the log book located at the posted coordinates.
Bring the kids! It'll be a great opportunity to take family portraits. Enjoy the day!
