A place to camp if you decide to try this rough mountain road. Jeeps not recommended.
The trek from Dugas road down to the Verde Hot springs is a harrowing, long rough journey. The road can be next to impassable in the wrong vehicle. This journey can take up to five hours one way depending on how you drive the massive boulders. 4X4 is a minimum, but down the steep mountain switchback I wouldn't take anything wider than a Ranger as fallen boulders make you strattle the edge of a giant ciff. This is not for the faint of heart and will get your adrenalie pumping. Warning HIGH CLEARANCE 4X4 REQUIRED.
