'*' is for Bonus.
This cache is not at the published co-ordinates but is within 2 miles. To find the location for the cache you will need to find the bonus numbers hidden in several of the Surrey A to Z caches. If you are very lucky you can find this cache with only visiting 6 others in the series, it may take many more....
Once you have visited them all (or enough of them at least) go looking for the cache here:
N51 13.(A-E)(B-D)(F+E)
W0 40.(G+E)D(B+G-F+A-D-C)
You'll find the 1.1 litre clip-lock container in a camo-bag. When placed the cache was quite well stocked with the following:
- A log - in a pot with "LOG" written on it.
- Several small animals and figures
- A charades card game - (please take this before it gets grotty, if it is grotty when you get there, please take it and dispose of it)
- A ready-to-place micro cache with its own log - covered in black tape (this is not the log for this cache - take the container and use it to place your own.)
- A camo bag big enough to hold a "small" clip-top cache container
If the cache container and camo bag prove popular I may pop back from time to time to replenish them with new, please let me know if they are useful.
Note:
There may be a slightly quicker route to the cache from somewhere other than the trailhead waypoint listed but I would not recommended attempting that way after dark. The alternative access is from an area favoured by those who partake in a very different sort of outdoor activity than that usually associated with caching. The approach from the trailhead is also a very pretty route so is worth a look anyway.
