St Thomas's, Huddersfield, has, for one hundred and fifty years, offered daily worship in the catholic tradition of the Church of England.
Today this is combined with extensive community use of the church and parish hall, providing a range of services and activities for the local community. The church is also home to the local Ethiopian Orthodox Community.
The church building was extensively reordered in 1990. The worshipping community includes many from different parts of the world. Our worship is traditional but with a very contemporary feel.
The Parochial Church Council has passed Resolutions A and B with regard to the ministry of women as priests and the parish is under the extended episcopal care of the Bishop of Pontefract.
