Geocache Description:

This is a straightforward multi cache that will show you a little bit of Friday Bridge.

Starting coordinates take you to the village sign itself and you can find GC2J3M1 Poppies on Parade Friday Bridge very close by.

Friday Bridge was formed into an ecclesiastical parish out of Elm in 1860. In the village was situated the Manor of Beauford which name was first recorded in 1321 when it was held by the Bishop of Lichfield. The name still exists as the 18th century Beauford House. Friday Bridge lies approximately 4 miles south of Wisbech along the B1101 which serves as a secondary road between the towns of Wisbech and March. The village has developed on a system of roads radiating out from the centre as defined by the Clock Tower. Now for the Cache:

Look at the sign. How many herons = A Number of horses = B

To find the final do some simple maths.

N52 (A+B)(3B+A).ABA

E000 (B-B)(9A).(3B)A(2B)

You are looking for a black magnetic nano with parking close by.

If anybody would like to expand the Village Sign Series, please do. I would ask that you request a number for your cache first by filling in the new request form on the Village Sign Series website villagesignseries.co.uk https://www.villagesignseries.co.uk so we can keep track of the Village Sign numbers and names to avoid duplication.
