A flash mob happens when a lot of people gather together all at once, in an unexpected way from the point of view of others in the area. A Cache Mob happens when a group of Geocachers get together - you never know what will happen next.
The Event Schedule will be:
8:00am - Act like you are a Prince (or Princess) - use your imagination to adapt your style
8:05am - Continue with Meet & Greet at parking coordinates - exchange TBs and tales
8:10am - Sign log and take picture
8:15am - Flash Mob over - time to Dash to new coordinates - N 38° 33.570 W 077° 20.895
8:20am - Arrive at new coordinates and reconvene for another picture
8:25am - Second picture - proves you know how to Flash and Dash
8:30am - Event over - disperse - go forth and cache on
Cache Mobs are a quick-moving event with little time for socializing, but anyone who wants to stay on afterwards and enjoy the morning touring the park while chatting with your fellow geocachers are welcome to do so! We look forward to seeing all of our geocaching friends and meeting those of you whom we've not had the pleasure of meeting yet out on the trails!
