Only Connect #6 Mystery Cache

Number 6 of a Connection-style series of puzzle caches requiring a bit of lateral thinking. This one leads to an all too familiar magnetic BYOP final. The cache itself can be found at an appropriate location.

To solve this one, you need to work out how the below are connected. This is shamelessly pinched from the missing vowels round from the BBC programme whose name this cache series shares..
 

Simply work out the below, listed in chronological order of achievement:

A=DMBYNDSN

B=BLKHS

C=HRDTMS

D=TLFTWCTS

E=RMTLFRND

F=the number of letters in A.

G=the number of letters in B.

H=the number of letters in C.

I=the number of letters in D.

J=the number of letters in E.

K=the number of letters in the name (two words) of the person who connects all the above.
