Geocache Description:

This cache is located by Olney Springs, Colorado.  Not a lot around this area but we sure can make it a nice spot for geocachers.  This is one of many planned caches to hopefully get a nice power trail going in the area.

As always, with this type of desert terrain, be watchful and cautious for things that poke, sting and bite.  And remember, a good cacher always practices CITO if needed!  Thanks for visiting our neck of the woods and happy caching.

Dunce Hat - A pointed hat, formerly used as an article of discipline in schools.  In popular culture, it is typically made of paper and often marked with a D or "Dunce" and given to unruly school children to wear.  Examples of behavior which could warrant the Dunce Cap included throwing spitballs, passing notes, or pulling of hair.  Class clowns were frequently admonished with the Dunce Cap.  The word dunce means; a dull-witted, stupid, or ignorant person
