Geocache Description:

This cache is located by Olney Springs, Colorado.  Not a lot around this area but we sure can make it a nice spot for geocachers.  This is one of many planned caches to hopefully get a nice power trail going in the area.

As always, with this type of desert terrain, be watchful and cautious for things that poke, sting and bite.  And remember, a good cacher always practices CITO if needed!  Thanks for visiting our neck of the woods and happy caching!

Capotain Hat - is a tall-crowned, narrow brimmed, slightly conical hat, usually black, worn by men & women from the 1590's into the mid 17th Century in England and Northwestern Europe.  It is also commonly called a Flat Topped Hat and a Pilgrim Hat, the latter for it's association with the Pilgrims that settled Plymouth Colony in the 1620's.
