Our host for the event is Lowfellgate Caravan Park. As of 18th February they have around 30 pitches, 6 with electric hook ups available BUT as the weekend also sees racing at Cartmel, speed of booking is of the essence.
This is the essential booking information
Dogs are welcome but must be on a lead as there are wild deer roaming through the site. Casual visitors are welcome, so no problem joining us, even if you do not wish to camp.
The site is a little over a mile away from Kents Bank train station where the train can be caught to Arnside, the start of the Morecambe Bay crossing.
The theme of the event is games. We would like people to bring their favourite games to play, if you have giant versions, even better! When you write your Will Attend log, please state which if any you are able to bring, just so we don't end up with a couple of dozen sets of the Twisting game with the coloured circles on the plastic sheet! There will also be a quiz, of sorts.
Further information will come out further down the line, so watch the page or log your will attend to see the announcements. We will also use this thread on the GAGB website http://gagb.org.uk/forums/showthread.php?p=73464#post73464 so keep an eye on that.
But for now, if you wish to camp with us, please book with the site to avoid disappointment! When booking, please state you are with the geocaching party.
