Cleaning Up After The Camel Cache In Trash Out Event

This cache has been archived.

mattfast1: This CITO was bucketfuls of fun but now it's over and time for this to disappear from searches! Next time I'll provide the water in containers rather than pouring from the atmosphere. [;)]

Thanks to everyone crazy enough to show up to this rainy day CITO, and congratulations to animjason and TheBrecks for winning the gold Earth Day 2015 and gold GCCO 2015 geocoins, respectively!

Geocache Description:

The dromedary has meandered down the street, but the trash that was here remains - so let's clean it up!

Who: Any cachers who wish to help beautify a small corner of the game board!
What: Remove trash (including but not limited to: empty aluminum cans, broken glass, foam packing materials, and other debris) that has gathered at this location.
When: Sunday, April 26, 2015 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM (or until done)
Where: Empty lot near Broadway & Mineral - see coordinates!

Provisions: I will be providing trash bags and water for this event.
Recommended Items: It is recommended to wear sturdy shoes and possibly long pants, mostly due to the broken glass in the vicinity. This event is being advertised as NOT child-friendly due to broken glass in the area, but use your best judgement.
In addition, it is recommended that you bring work gloves and/or trash grabbers. The only food/water provided by the host will be water, anything else will need to be brought with you.

Attending this CITO event will earn you the CITO Weekend 2015 souvenir for your geocaching.com profile - a perfect opportunity if you do not attend similar events in Boulder/Aurora/Colorado Springs/Canon City on 4/25! There are also plenty of caches in the immediate area to allow you to cache your way into the event.

In addition, GCCO has kindly donated a gold coin that will be raffled off at this event!

Coin not to scale - fortunately!
