Join us at Millie's Tavern in Manchester, NH to celebrate Pi day. For our event, I have reserved the high top tables on the far side of the bar area.
Pi day is typically celebrated on March 14 because the first three digits of pi are 3.14. In 2015, we can celebrate a once in a lifetime mathematical convergence where the first eleven digits in Pi (3.141592653) align to the date and time of the event! The Pi event will be held on March 14 starting at 9PM. We will gather for a group photo at exactly Pi time which is 9:26.53 PM.
There will be two new souvenirs available to be earned on Pi Day this year. The first souvenir is inspired by the groups of people who have an irrational love for irrational numbers. Just attend an event, including CITO or a Mega-Event on Pi Day and you’ll earn this souvenir. The second souvenir celebrates the mystery of pi—to earn it, log a “Found It” on a Mystery Cache on March 14. You will be able to earn both these souvenirs by attending this event as there will also be a special puzzle cache published for this event right around Pi Time (9:26:53 PM).
