Two years ago, a very special person came into our lives with the birth of our very first grandchild. She has brought much joy to our lives and we have gone to the ends of the earth (well Iowa anyway) to spoil her. This cache is to commemorate that event two years ago and hopefully will be published on her birthday.
The cache is located on the corner of an apple orchard with the approval of the orchard owners. Depending on the time of year, you may find the apple trees in full blossom, or you may have to deal with muggles during apple harvest season.
This should be an easy find but may take a bit of bushwhacking once you spot it. Approach from the backside, away from the road. Getting to the log is a bit more challenging. The cache is actually a container within a container, the outer container being regular size and well marked as a geocache. You will need to figure out the technique to remove the inner container that holds the log. No tools are needed to accomplish this, only a bit of ingenuity. The intent is that not even fingers are needed, but suit yourself.
When replacing the inner container, make sure you get it all the way back in so the next finder will enjoy the full experience of this cache. Rehang the geocache to the location as you found it.
Can accommodate small trackables only.
