The Cart & Horses is just off the A33, a short drive from M3 Junction 9. Exit the M3 at Junction 9, take the A272 exit to Winchester. At the roundabout take the 4th exit onto the A34, then slight right toward A33. Turn left on to the B3047 and the pub is on your right. There is a large car park to the rear of the pub and disabled spaces at the front. We will be in the skittle alley which is on the right as you look at the front of the building.
Please leave a 'Will Attend' note on the cache page and say whether you intend to eat so we can let the pub know numbers expected. The pub has a good value menu, and good food.
The traditional wooden chest will be available for the dropping off, swapping and discovering of Geocoins and Travel Bugs.
There will be the usual raffle with approx 15 prizes on offer, totalling around £100 in value.
If you would like to experience something different, and have the chance to meet other cachers, then don't worry that you might not know anybody.
We don't bite, and you can be assured of a warm welcome! We hope that seeing as this event is in Central Hampshire that lots of local cachers will be able to come along as well as the usual suspects! It's always good to meet new cachers or anyone who has never been to an event before. Events are great for caching chit-chat and to get some helpful tips and hints on those unsolved puzzle caches.
