Om Hätte Pussel- och pysselpromenad:
Hätte pussel- och pysselpromenad är en långpromenadserie, där cacherna finns en bit från Hätte (i anslutning till stigar och promenadvänliga grusvägar med lugn biltrafik mellan GC5CYT8 och GC3B550). Den går även utmärkt att logga med cykel.
Bil går också bra, men på några av platserna kan du behöva parkera den och gå ett hundratal meter till cachen. Man kan dock INTE ta sig förbi med bil i riktning från Hätte precis i början, söder om GC5CYT8 (den stigen är endast framkomlig till fots, med cykel eller med moped)... utan i så fall måste man åka ut till Sandvik från andra hållet, från Ydrevägen.
I pusselserien ska du, som namnet antyder, lägga pussel för att få fram cachernas koordinater. Pysselserien innehåller enklare chiffer, sudokun, calcudokun och svårare, kryptoaritmetiska problem (se DotA-serien, GC5M6BX, om du inte förstår dessa). Du löser mystarna hemifrån i förväg.
Pusselcacherna finns alla i barn- och pensionärsvänlig terräng, medan några av pysslen kan vara lite mer fysiskt ansträngande eller kräva lättare trädklättring. Jag har dock lagt ut alla cacher utan att själv använda några hjälpmedel, så de flesta bör kunna logga dem utan att ha med sig någon mer utrustning än en penna för att signera loggarna.
På pusslen i pusselserien, när du har lagt den sista pusselbiten, så visas ett "completion message" med cachens koordinater. Om du skulle råka klicka bort det meddelandet, så kan du se det igen genom att klicka på den gröna pausknappen uppe till höger och därefter på pratbubblan i inställningsrutan.
About the Hätte Pussel- and Pysselpromenad series:
The Hätte pussel- and pysselpromenad series require a long walk, since the caches are a bit away from Hätte (close to paths and small, walking friendly roads with calm car traffic between GC5CYT8 and GC3B550). It is also a perfect series to log by bike.
A car is fine as well, but at some of the locations, you have to park the car and walk the last bit. Also, at the very beginning, south of GC5CYT8, you can NOT pass with a car from Hätte (that path is only passable when walking, with a bike, or with a scooter)... so in that case, you will have to drive to Sandvik from the opposite direction, from Ydrevägen.
In pusselserien (the puzzle series), you should solve puzzles to get the cache coordinates. In pysselserien, you have to solve a few easy ciphers, sudokus, calcudokus and also some harder cryptarithms (see the DotA-series, GC5M6BX, if you don't understand them). You solve the mysteries from home, in advance.
The caches in pusselserien are all in child- and retiree friendly terrain, while some caches in pysselserien can be a little bit more demanding, or require tree climbing. I have placed all of the caches without using any special tools myself, so most people should be able to log them without bringing any other equipment than a pen to sign the logs.
On the puzzles in the puzzle series, after placing the final puzzle piece, you will see a "completion message" with the cache coordinates. If you accidentally close it down, click on the green pause button on the top right and then the text bubble in the settings, to view the message again.
