You may encounter cattle en route, as well as a "Bull in Field" sign. The cattle I have come across have all been friendly and relaxed. Wellies are advised, especially in winter. The route can be muddy, and there is a very small stream to ford. If you park at the suggested parking, it should take you less than 1 hour at a leisurely pace door to door.
