Sencillo caché para conocer parte de "Los llanos".
En los Llanos de Alcalá, además de estupendas vistas y caminos por los que pasear al aire libre, se puede encontrar una cantera de la que se extrae un tipo de piedra muy particular. En este tipo de piedra se puede ver que está formada por restos de conchas y moluscos, de cuando estas tierras debían estar bajo el mar.
La piedra extraida de estas canteras use utiliza mucho por la zona y podrás encontrarla en monumentos, edificios o casas particulares de Alcalá y alrededores.
Se puede llegar en coche hasta arriba y aparcar junto al depósito o bien junto a los carriles que empiezan en el depósito. Después sólo teneis que andar unos metros y disfrutar de las vistas.
El caché no está muy escondido, seguramente lo vereis antes de llegar (o tal vez no) ;)
At the "Llanos de Alcalá", besides nice views and tracks to walk outdoors, you can find a quarry from where a particular kind of stone is extracted. On this kind of stone you can see that is formed by remains of shells and mollusks, of when the lands have been under the sea.
The stone extracted from this quarry is widely used by the area and you can find it on monuments, buildings or particular houses from Alcalá y surroundings.
It's possible to get there by car and park behind the water station or on the roads that start from this point. Then, you just have to walk some meters and enjoy the views.
The cache is not so hidden, probably you will see it before to arrive (or maybe not) ;)
