Geocache Description:

You are looking for a magnetic nano. It is not inside the church grounds. Please ensure it is re-attached safely to stop it falling on the floor.

The church was built by Thomas Collins in 1878.

It has 5 windows of stained glass, made by Swaine Bourne of Birmingham, featuring The Three Wise Men, Jesus teaching his disciples, Jesus entering Jerusalem, Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, The Resurrection, and The Ascension.

On either side of the chancel arch are carvings of angels, by H.H. Martyn, of Cheltenham. His company was later responsible for the refurbishment of the House of Commons, after damage suffered in World War II, and the pulpit in St Paul's Cathedra

You will have no doubt noticed outside the front of the church is "The Cross", the ancient crossing place of roads from the north to the south, and east to west. On the left hand wall of the church, close to the altar, is a patchwork cross made by junior church members in 2003 of 125 squares to commemorate "125 years at The Cross".
