After the success of the first two CITO's here, the Surrey Wildlife Trust have again asked us to help at their Big Tidy Up. I will be the Geocaching contact. You will be working together with other Geocachers tidying up the Newlands Corner area.
Where: Newlands Corner Car Park
When: 9am-12pm
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Well behaved dogs on leads are very welcome and dog owners must pick up after their dogs.
We will assemble at the Newlands Corner Visitor Centre just before 9am, where we will be briefed by the SWT Events team. You will be provided with gloves and litter pickers. There will be some refreshments, but you can bring your own water if you like. The event finishes at midday.
We will break at 11:30, and reassemble at the Visitor Centre. If you want to bring your trackables along you will have an opportunity to swap them at this point.
When you post your "Will Attend" log it would be helpful if you say how many people will be coming with you. That way I can give the SWT team an indication of how many of us to expect.
There are a variety of caches close to Newlands Corner - traditionals, multis, puzzles and there's even an Earth cache nearby: something for everybody to do afterwards.
