The memorial comprises a base surmounted by a tapered plinth, broad shaft and an in-filled wheel cross. There is a WWI inscription, of 10 names, on the front face with a WW2 inscription, of 4 names, on an additional stone in the shape of an open book placed at the foot of the cross.
