कर्मन् (Karma) ist ein spirituelles Konzept der indischen Religionen Hinduismus, Buddhismus und Jainismus, nach dem jede Handlung – physisch wie geistig – unweigerlich eine Folge hat, es bezeichnet die Wirkungen von Handlungen und Gedanken in jeder Hinsicht, insbesondere die Rückwirkungen auf den Akteur selbst. Diese Folge muss nicht unbedingt im gegenwärtigen Leben wirksam werden, sondern sie kann sich möglicherweise erst in einem zukünftigen Leben manifestieren. Die Lehre des Karma ist eng mit dem Glauben an संसार (Samsara), den Kreislauf der Wiedergeburten, verbunden und damit an die Gültigkeit des Ursache-Wirkungs-Prinzips auf geistiger Ebene auch über mehrere Lebensspannen hinweg. Karma entsteht demnach durch eine Gesetzmäßigkeit und nicht wegen einer Beurteilung durch einen Weltenrichter oder Gott: es geht nicht um „Göttliche Gnade“ oder „Strafe“. Nicht nur „schlechtes“ Karma erzeugt den Kreislauf der Wiedergeburten, sondern gleichermaßen das „gute“. Letztes Ziel ist es, überhaupt kein Karma mehr zu erzeugen.
Wir Geocacher verwenden den Begriff allerdings in übertragener Bedeutung: Caching Karma bezeichnet die Anzahl der Logs, die du für deine Caches von anderen Geocachern bekommen hast dividiert durch die Anzahl der Caches, die du geloggt hast. Ich selber hatte Ende 2014 zum Beispiel 3689 Geocaches gefunden, und meine eigenen Caches waren 220 Mal gefunden worden. 2689/220 ≈ 0,06. Meine bisherigen Geocaches sind relativ schwierig bzw. aufwendig und werden daher nicht allzu oft gefunden. Um mein erbärmliches Caching Karma aufzubessern, verstecke ich deswegen jetzt einmal einen Cache ohne große Ansprüche, der leicht (und hoffentlich oft 
) zu finden sein sollte.
Lavapiés ist ein zentral gelegenes Stadtviertel in Madrid, südlich der Plaza Tirso de Molina. Es ist zum Großteil verkehrsberuhigte Zone, und Tag und Nacht sehr belebt. Und wenn du dein kulinarisches Karma verbessern willst, so findest du hier jede Menge Restaurants, die dir indische (und andere südasiatische) Küche servieren. Die nächstgelegenen U-Bahnstationen sind Tirso de Molina und Lavapiés. Wie bereits gesagt, hier herrscht zu allen Zeiten hohes Muggleaufkommen, vor allem, wenn die Restaurants voll sind. Diskretion ist deshalb nötig, und dafür gibt es auch ein Sternchen mehr bei der Schwierigkeit.

कर्मन् (karma) es un concepto espiritual de las religiones indias del hinduismo, budismo y yainismo, según que cada acto – físico y espiritual – sin falta tiene una consecuencia, denomina los efectos de actos y pensamientos en todos los aspectos, especialmente las repercusiones sobre el actor mismo. Esta consecuencia no necesariamente tiene que surtir efectos en la vida acutal, sino puede manifestarse posiblemente sólo en una vida futura. La doctrina del karma es íntimamente vinculada a las creencias en संसार (samsara), el ciclo de los renacimientos, y con eso a la validez del principio de causa y efecto en el nivel espiritual también durante varias vidas. Karma consiguientemente surge de una regularidad y no a causa del juicio de un juez universal o dios: no se trata de „gracia divina“ o „pena“. No sólo karma „malo“ provoca el ciclo de los renacimientos, sino igualmente el „bueno“. El último objetivo es ya no generar ningún karma.
No obstante, nosotros geocachers utilizamos el concepto en sentido figurado: Caching Karma denomina el número de los logs que has recibido de otros geocachers dividido por el número de cachés que has logado. Yo mismo, por ejemplo, a fines del año 2014 había encontrado 3689 geocaches, y mis proprios cachés habían sido encontrado 220 vezes. 2689/220 ≈ 0,06. Mis cachés hasta ahora son relativamente difíciles respectivamente necesitan bastante esfuerzo y por eso no se encuentran con mucha frecuencia. Para aumentar mi lamentable caching karma escondo ahora una vez un caché sin grandes pretensiones que debería ser fácil de encontrar (y ojalá a menudo ).
Lavapiés es un barrio central de Madrid, al sur de la Plaza Tirso de Molina. En su mayor parte es una zona de tráfico reducido, y día y noche muy concurrido. Y si quieres mejorar tu karma culinario aquí encuentras una tonelada de restaurantes que te sirven cocina india (y otras de la Asia del Sur). Las estaciones de metro más próximas son Tirso de Molina y Lavapiés. Como acabo de decirlo, aquí hay en cualquier momento una gran intensidad de muggles, especialmente cuando los restaurantes están llenos. Por eso la discreción es imprescindible y en cambio pongo una estrella de dificultad más.

कर्मन् (Karma) is a spiritual concept of the Indian religions of Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism, according to which every action – physical and spiritual – inevitably has a consequence, it denotes the effects of deeds and intents in every sense, especially the repercussions on the player himself. This consequence does not necessarily come into effect in the current life, but it can manifest itself possibly only in a future life. The doctrine of karma is closely associated with the believe in संसार (samsara), the cycle of rebirths and thus to the validity of the principle of causality at a spiritual level even for several life spans. Karma therefore results from a regularity and not because of an appraisal by a divine judge or a god: it is not about „divine mercy“ or „punishment“. Not only „bad“ karma generates the cycle of rebirths but also the „good“ one. The ultimate goal is not to generate any karma at all any more.
However, we geocachers use the concept in a figurative sense: Caching Karma denotes the number of logs you have received on your caches from other cachers divided by the number of caches you have logged. Me, for example, at the end of 2014 I had found 3689 geocaches, and my own caches had been found 220 times. 2689/220 ≈ 0,06. My caches up to now are relatively difficult or require quite some effort and, thus, are not found very often. In order to improve my miserable caching karma I therefore hide now for once a cache without great pretensions, which should be easy to find (and, hopefully, often ).
Lavapiés is a central neighbourhood of Madrid, south of the Plaza Tirso de Molina. For the most part is is a traffic-calmed area, and night and day very busy. And if you want to improve your culinary karma you will find loads of restaurants which serve you Indian (and other South-Asian) cuisine. The closest metro stations are Tirso de Molina and Lavapiés. As already mentioned before, there are always muggles galore here, especially when the restaurants are full. Discretion is of the essence, and therefore I put one star more for the difficulty.
