PiekiOnTheRox_hunter: Beste geocachers,

Het is met gemengde gevoelens dat ik deze boodschap schrijf, maar het is tijd om afscheid te nemen van deze geocache. Het heeft me ontzettend veel vreugde gebracht om deze te creëren en te onderhouden, en ik ben dankbaar voor de talloze avonturen die jullie hebben beleefd tijdens het zoeken en loggen.

Maar zoals elk avontuur zijn eigen einde heeft, zo heeft ook het verhaal van Tombraider hier zijn laatste pagina bereikt. Het was een geweldige reis, vol uitdagingen en vondsten.

Dank aan iedereen die heeft deelgenomen aan dit avontuur, voor jullie toewijding en enthousiasme. Jullie logs hebben me vaak een glimlach bezorgd.

Hoewel deze geocache nu in het archief belandt, hoop ik dat jullie blijven genieten van het schatzoeken en nieuwe avonturen beleven. Wie weet, misschien kruisen onze paden in de toekomst opnieuw.

If you combine both multi caches you can walk in a loop.

ENGLISH VERSION

Those who already accomplished the multi Tomb Raider: Demon of fire are fully aware of Lara Croft’s new adventure.
For those who do not know what exactly happened but still want to help out Miss Croft, both Part 1 and Part 2 of following information is important to understand what it is about. The other agents / adventurers can begin reading the second part of the long description.

Part 1: Lara Croft has unexpectedly crashed her plane into the Vagevuurbos at Beernem. The cause is not clear but the plane lost control because the operating system hit tilt. After the crash that completely wrecked the plane, Lara Croft decided to investigate the forest because she saw some curious lights just before she lost control of the plane. This research led her deeper and deeper into the forest where she discovered that there was something fishy going on. Her suspicion seemed to be founded because suddenly she was attacked, captured and imprisoned in an old, dilapidated house.

Part 2: Lara Croft had been surprised by some criminals despite her caution and years of experience. They managed to overpower her and numb afterwards she woke up in an old and dilapidated house. But of course Miss Croft escaped a short time later. And not only that, she had discovered what was the intention of all the secrecy in the forest and more, she managed to steal a very important object. All the tactics that were used to keep away visitors from the forest was because the criminals where searching for a buried treasure. In the time that the forest still existed of marshland, robbers used the deceptive lights that lured unsuspecting travelers into the swamp to steel their belongings. That those people chasing this treasure, will not let go Miss Croft so easily we should not really mention. This is the most logical step that you may find in such a story. But the main reason for their fanatics is that Miss Croft took that one object that is absolutely crucial in locating the treasure. If they cannot get it back all of their work and effort is in vain. And most certainly they will not live to tell if their bosses hear about their failure!

NEDERLANDSE VERSIE:

Wie reeds de multi Tomb Raider: Demon of fire heeft volbracht is volledig op de hoogte van het nieuwe avontuur waarin Lara Croft halsoverkop is beland. Voor diegene die niet weten wat er juist gebeurd is maar Miss Croft toch een handje willen helpen is zowel deel 1 als deel 2 van volgende informatie van belang om te begrijpen waarover het gaat. De andere agenten/avonturiers kunnen meteen beginnen met het lezen van het tweede deel van de lange omschrijving.

Deel 1: Lara Croft is onverwacht neergestort met haar vliegtuigje in het Vagevuurbos van Beernem. De oorzaak is niet helemaal duidelijk maar het vliegtuig werd onbestuurbaar doordat het besturingssysteem tilt sloeg. Na de crash liet Lara Croft haar volledig vernielde vliegtuigje achter om op onderzoek uit te gaan naar lichtjes die ze in het bos had zien branden op het moment dat ze de controle verloor. Dit onderzoek leidde haar dieper en dieper het bos in waarbij ze tot de ontdekking kwam dat er iets niet pluis bleek te zijn. Haar vermoedens leken volledig gegrond te zijn want plots werd ze overvallen, overmeesterd en gevangen gehouden in een oud en vervallen huisje.

Deel 2: Lara Croft had zich laten verrassen door enkele ongure types ondanks haar voorzichtigheid en jarenlange ervaring. Ze wisten haar te overmeesteren en te verdoven waarna ze ontwaakte in een oud en vervallen huisje. Maar miss Croft zou miss Croft niet zijn als ze korte tijd nadien niet had weten te ontsnappen. En dat niet alleen, ze had ontdekt wat de bedoeling was van al die geheimdoenerij in het Vagevuurbos en had bovendien ook nog een heel belangrijk object weten te ontvreemden tijdens haar ontsnapping. Alle tactieken die toegepast werden om bezoekers weg te houden uit het Vagevuurbos heeft te maken met de schat die er begraven zou zijn. In de tijd dat het bos nog uit moerasgebied bestond werd er door misdadigers al gebruik gemaakt van de misleidende lichtjes die argeloze reizigers in het moeras lokten. Menig slachtoffer die verdwaalde en door het moeras werd opgeslokt werd eerst van zijn waardevolle spullen beroofd door de bandieten die er hun thuisbasis hadden. Dat de bende die achter deze schat aanzit miss Croft zo maar niet zullen laten gaan moeten we eigenlijk niet vermelden, dit is het meest logische gevolg dat je in zo'n verhaal kan hebben. Maar dat ze heel fanatiek zullen proberen Miss Croft te pakken te krijgen is doordat ze juist dat ene voorwerp meegenomen heeft dat een absolute cruciale rol speelt in het verhaal. Als ze het niet terug kunnen krijgen is alle werk en moeite die ze al gedaan hebben voor niets geweest en zullen er zeker koppen rollen!
