A Challenge cache is a subtype of an „unknown” one. In order to log such a cache you should fulfill the cache condition and sign the logbook in the physical container. All the online logs not meeting any of these two restrictions will be deleted without warning. "Retroactive" logs are not allowed.
The condition:
For various geocaching achievements you receive “souvenirs” from Groundspeak in the form of pictures displayed in your profile. You may earn them by:
- Finding caches in specific countries, e.g. Poland, Spain, etc.
- Finding caches in provinces of some countries, e.g. states of USA, lands of Germany etc.
- Finding specific caches like e.g. the one placed where the original “stash” was in 2000.
- Attending some of the Mega-events.
- Performing some activities at specific time, for example participating in a CITO event during the CITO day, finding any cache during the Geocaching day, and so on.
In order to be allowed to log this challenge cache you have to collect at least 44 Groundspeak souvenirs in your profile (eleven full profile rows). It does not matter what souvenirs you have. Special case: if logging this cache earns you your 44th souvenir, you are allowed to log a find. As fulfilling this condition is pretty troublesome and usually it does require some serious traveling the difficulty rating of this challenge cache has been set to 5 to reflect that effort. Please attach a list of your souvenirs or a graphic to your log.

Para proezas differentes Groundspeak atribui „souvenirs“, que são imagens visíveis no vosso perfil. Os „souvenirs“ foram atribuídos por:

encontrar caches em datas determinadas como o dia do Geocaching.
Para reclamar o found nesta cache, além do vosso log no log-book, terão que cumprir o desafio de fazer uma colecção pelo menos 44 souvenirs. Não é importante que tipo dos souvenirs fazem parte da colecção. Caso especial: se o log desta cache for o souvenir no 44, é permitido fazer um log para nesta cache. Porque cumprir o desafio não é facil, esta cache tem 5 estrelas de dificuldade. E, por favor, anexe a lista dos seus souvenirs ao seu log."
