Geocache Description:

The town of Annapolis Royal and "Winter Active” are co-hosting a free day of snowshoeing and Geocaching.

Date: Sunday, February 8, 2015
Time: 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Location: Old Rail Station, 151 Victoria Street, Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia

Storm Date is Sunday, February 8, 2015 2-4 p.m.

We will have free snowshoes available for people to sign out to see if they like snowshoeing!
We will have a limited number of free GPS units available for people to sign out, if they do not have their own. Instructions and demonstrations will be available so that people can learn about geocaching.
There will be some demonstration caches placed around the old rail station for people to try their hand at caching but still be close enough to "base camp" to get help if it is necessary. There will be some permanent geocaches placed along the Rails to Trails nearby.
Free Hot chocolate and apple cider will be available. There will also be lots of great prizes available to be won!
