Geocache Description:

The 133rd in a series of caches where a red telephone box is in close proximity to a post box.
The only rule is that they have to be able to be photographed together, and the phone boxes have to be red.

A nano not suitable for young children or wheelchair users - sorry. GZ can be very busy at times.

In the 1880’s, a group of businessmen saw a need for a centre of entertainment for the people of Lydney and District.  In 1888, they set to the task of building the Lydney Town Hall that we know of today and formed the Lydney Town Hall Limited. During the First World War the Town Hall was used as the headquarters of a hospital for sick and wounded soldiers . It was open from 1914 to 1919; during which period 3048 cases were treated.

A later claim to fame came on 31st August 1962 when the Beatles played there!

The Fine Pair series was originally started by wizardsmum.

If anybody would like to place 'A Fine Pair' of their own please do, I would just ask that you let mattd2k know first so he can keep track of the numbers and names to avoid duplication.

He also keeps a public Bookmark List of this series so once your cache is published please contact him via his profile page to have yours added.
