Croy railway station serves the towns of Croy and Kilsyth, as well as part of Cumbernauld. Train services started between Glasgow Queen Street and Haymarket on 21 February 1842, but the original station here has since been demolished and replaced with a 'modern' glass and steel building.
There are new houses going up very close to the station, so access on foot is increasingly an option for many locals.
