Join fellow geocachers to start off the New Year right - with the first Geocaching event of 2015!

Nothing complicated here - a simple meet & greet event at Deas Island in the picnic shelter.

Please join your hosts, some of the MetroVan Geocaching volunteers, for a cup of hot chocolate or tea and some socializing and TB swapping before you kick off your first day of geocaching for 2015.

MetroVan Geocaching volunteers will be serving hot chocolate or tea for those who are able to drag themselves out of bed and to an event (thus the difficulty rating).

• Location: Deas Island Park Picnic Shelter (see event coordinates)
• Time: 10:30am
• Date: Thursday, January 1, 2015
• Duration: 1 hour
• What to bring: a cup or mug for your hot beverage

This event will be held rain/snow or shine (hoping for snow!) and we look forward to seeing you there. So start your day and year off right by sharing an awesome geocaching adventure with some new and old friends!
