Il Grand Tour era un lungo viaggio in Europa effettuato dai ricchi giovani dell'aristocrazia europea a partire dal XVII secolo e destinato a perfezionare il loro sapere. Questo viaggio poteva durare da pochi mesi fino a svariati anni.
Durante il Tour, i giovani imparavano a conoscere la politica, la cultura, l'arte e le antichità dei paesi europei. Passavano il loro tempo facendo giri turistici, studiando e facendo acquisti.
L'Italia era uno dei posti più popolari da visitare; oltre a Roma, Venezia, Firenze e la Sicilia, tra le tappe più importanti del tour vi era sicuramente la visita della città di Napoli, la salita al Vesuvio per studiarne l'attività vulcanica, e la visita ai siti archeologici di Pompei ed Ercolano.
Goethe, Stendhal e G. Berkeley hanno descritto il loro viaggio in Italia, e hanno lasciato note memorabili delle loro emozioni vissute durante le loro giornate trascorse a visitare posti incantevoli.
Il cache è nascosto alle coordinate postate, ma al fine di loggare questo cache, oltre a trovarne il contenitore, occorre dimostrare di aver effettuato il Grand Tour a Napoli, cioè bisogna aver loggato 3 cache fisici (tradizionale, mystery, multi, ecc.) così distribuiti:
-almeno un cache fisico nella città di Napoli (escluso questo): indicare nel log quale cache e in quale giorno è stato loggato;
-almeno un cache fisico nell'area del Vesuvio: indicare nel log quale cache e in quale giorno è stato loggato;
-almeno un cache fisico nei siti archeologici di Pompei OPPURE di Ercolano: indicare nel log quale cache e in quale giorno è stato loggato.
I cache necessari possono essere pubblicati sia prima che dopo la pubblicazione di questa challenge, purchè si trovino nelle aree suddette.

The Grand Tour was a long journey in Europe made by the rich young European aristocrats in the seventeenth century and intended to improve their knowledge. This trip could last from a few months to several years.
During the tour, the young people learned about politics, culture, art and antiquities of the European countries.

The cache is hidden at posted coordinates, but in order to log this cache, in addition to finding the container, you must show to have carried out the Grand Tour in Naples;
