This is our first hide, and it's in one of the most iconic bits of Narborough Village. Running parallel to the River Soar, this railway has been the centre point for the village, linking it to the nearby quarry and becoming a mini industry hub.
Narborough Train Station is on the main route from Leicester to Birmingham and is a popular commuter route. It was opened in 1864 by South Leicestershire Rail, and was closed in 1968 by British Rail. However, public objection caused BR to reopen it, and its been running ever since.
