Please join us at our first event for 2015, as we have some fun, food and merriment, to bring in the new geocaching year! This is a family event, so please bring those little geocachers!
We're going to have some very special Door Prizes (geocaching-related) and each person attending will receive a ticket for the drawing!
We will also be having a "White Elephant" style gift exchange, for our entertainment. Please do NOT buy anything for this gift exchange. Find any old thing from around your house, that is of modest value, and wrap it up. But first...and this is the hard part....write a note for whoever receives the gift, explaing how it could be used geocaching. Notes should be wrapped with the present, too, and both gift and note should be anonymous. This is not supposed to be serious, in fact, the wackier the ideas, the better. Let's show off how creative geocaching makes us!
There will be some quick news and short announcements about WSGA activities, coming in 2015, but this is a holiday party, so we'll keep it brief! Although this is a WSGA sponsored event, you do NOT have to be a member to attend and you are NOT required to join. Anyone who geocaches or is interested in geocaching is welcome! For those new to geocaching events, the food and drink tab is dutch for this style of event.
We'd especially love to see a lot of Olympic Peninsula and Kitsap geocachers come to this. I've hopefully chosen a good time, so those who have a long drive don't have to contend with any icy roads. We also hope that some of the Gig Harbor Cache Machine geocachers will come, before heading home from the caching weekend.
Please note: This event was originally scheduled for January 3rd. Because that would conflict with another large event (the Gig Harbor Cache Machine II), we needed to change it to January 4th.
Please log your "Will Attend" with an approximate head count! Thanks so much!
