SPACE2081 [4.0/3.0] Pathfinder Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time or has had no owner response for at least 30 days, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

Disclaimer: If you have already found To Bouldly Go... (GC3N66H) you do not need to find this cache in order to complete the series. However, why wouldn't you?

This Cache:

Recently, SPACE released a probe, known as Pathfinder, to carry one of the codes for SPACE2081. Pathfinder's mission was to observe and map Green Lane Park in Green Lane, PA. However, shortly after it was released, Pathfinder stopped transmitting data to the SPACE HQ. The only information we have is a Pathfinder's data cache, which is located at the posted coordinates. That contains all of Pathfinder's survey data for Green Lane park. We've also recorded the data of several waypoints that Pathfinder transmitted back to SPACE HQ before it disappeared. Hopefully this will be of help in locating Pathfinder.

We tried our best to copy NASA's probe

BE SURE TO COME PREPARED:
-Depending on where you park, you will likely have to hike about 1 mile to get from parking to the first stage, and then another 2-3 miles to get to the final. -I recommend parking at N 40 21.215 W 75 29.069 for the shortest hike overall.
-You can also park at N 40 21.693, W 75 30.349 for the shortest distance to stage 1, and then hike back and park elsewhere for a much shorter distance to the final.
-Please stay on the trails the entire time. Both stages are within 10 feet of the trail, so bushwhacking should not be a necessity.
-The best approach to the first stage is to take the Honeysuckle trail and climb up to it when you get close (it's 10-15 feet from the trail). The bushwhack from the red trail is a lot worse, especially so if there's snow on the ground.
-Bring plenty of water.
-Anything on the cache page may be useful.
-Enjoy the hunt!

For those of you who don't have a smartphone, your checksum is 51, excluding 40 and 75.

This Series:

This cache is part of the SPACE 2081: A Geocaching Odyssey challenge.

This challenge contains one cache of each difficulty and terrain combination, plus a final cache which can be found only after finding all 81 caches that are part of the series. Each of those 81 caches will contain a code, which you will use as part of the puzzle to solve the FINAL CACHE.

All the members of the space team are actual cachers who are remaining anonymous for the moment. You can find more info on the series, as well as a complete list of released caches HERE. Please do not post hints or spoilers in your logs. Also, each cache must be signed by any individual cachers going for the final.

Good luck, may the force be with you, live long and prosper.
