MARTES (Tracy) and rcflyeriam (Daryl) met 2 years ago in October. At the 12/12/12 event their friendship started. Over the last 2 years, their love for geocaching has turned into a love for each other. Please join them for a geocache wedding reception, combined with a good old fashion Christmas Chinese auction. The price limit for the Chinese auction is 5.00. Joining the swap is optional. Those who don't bring a gift may choose to not partake. The swap gift does not have to be geocaching related. This is meant to be a gathering of our geocache friends and newbies to meet, greet and celebrate geocaching and the holiday season.
The happy couple will be celebrating a very short wedding ceremony immediately prior to the event, at a beautifully lit and decorated gazebo, performed by none other than geocachings own kbtiam (Kirk Thompson)! But we will share this with you when we arrive at the event at 8:30.
No gifts for the happy couple... Please just dress casual and come join us during this Holiday season of fellowship and happiness. Because of the late hour, I told the event venue that mostly drinks and appetizers would be purchased by attendees.
Feel free to bring any newbies you have crossed paths with. There will be a couple drawings of small token gifts. Bring trackables to trade and coins/pathtags to share.
