Geocache Description:

Where?

Shepherd of the Valley’s Activity
Center.
301 W. Western Reserve Rd.
Poland, OH. 44514

When?

December 6, 6:30-10pm.

This pavilion is owned by Shepherd Of The Valley,
and is on their Western Reserve property. It is a handicapped
accessible facilities. Parking is just outside the door, and it can
hold 50 people. Since our hosts are VERY strict about the building
capacities I need to have everyone register. You can do this by
going to Log Your Visit, and posting a Will Attend note, please let
me know how many people will be in your party as well as what you plan to bring.

What to expect?

As the name of this event suggest, we will be having a chili cook off. If you think you make the best chili in the area or just want to share your own take on the dish please bring some. Prizes will be given for the best chili. PLEASE PLACE A NOTE ON YOUR CHILI IF IT CONTAINS ANYTHING THAT PEOPLE MAY BE ALLERGIC TO! Those of you who do not want to bring chili please feel free to bring a dish of your choosing. I will provide the cups, plates, napkins, flatware, coffee, and water. If you would like something besides coffee and water to drink, please be sure to bring your own.

Finally, we will once again be collecting nonperishable foods for the local food banks. At last years event we were able to collect over 500 pounds of food that was split between Ohio and Pennsylvania areas our group calls home. Everyone who donates an item will be entered into a raffle at the end of the event for various prizes.

Hope to see you all there, if you can not make it for the entire event, still drop by for as long as you can manage. Also if anyone else has any ideas for the event please do not hesitate to let me know.

Special thanks go out to:
Shepherd of the Valley for allowing us to once again use their facilities
