Geocache Description:

Who could resist the Clangers? Certainly not me, and of all the Oliver Postgate series' the Clangers occupy a very special place in my heart.

This cache is hidden at the published coordinates but remember you MUST sign the logbook in order to claim the find; and PLEASE replace everything EXACTLY as you found it (you might want to take a photo before you start). Have fun and enjoy the cache.

Well blow me if the Iron Chicken hasn't laid another egg!

The Iron Chicken is a gentle yet curious beast and it has layed a strangely complicated camouflaged egg in a difficult to find place. Your task is to find the egg, sign the logbook, and reset and replace everything as you found it.

To make the cache most fun for everyone:

  1. please be sure to reset everything properly - and remember that to claim the find you have to sign the logbook
  2. while looking for the cache I recommend that you make gentle 'cluck cluck' noises and/or Clanger sounds. Otherwise you might upset the chicken.....
