Il Colle del Moncenisio nei secoli ha avuto una grande importanza militare. Con la cessione della Savoia alla Francia (1860) è diventato il valico di confine tra Francia e Italia. Ha quindi visto la realizzazione di grandi sistemi fortificati che dovevano difendere l'accesso al passo da un'eventuale azione nemica rivolta verso la Valle di Susa, porta di accesso alla Pianura Padana.
Nel 1874-80 il Regio Esercito italiano creò la Piazza militare del Moncenisio, costituita dai forti in pietra Cassa, Varisello e Roncia. A questi aggiunsero altre importanti batterie e fortificazioni, come la Batteria Pattacroce e la Caserma difensiva del Malamot, eretta sulla cima del monte omonimo. I Francesi a loro volta costruirono su un'altura presso il vecchio confine il Fort de la Turra. Nei primi anni del XX secolo il colle vide la costruzione delle due batterie corazzate La Court e Paradiso. Negli anni trenta, sotto il regime fascista, furono realizzate le opere in caverna del Vallo Alpino.
Tutte queste fortificazioni sono passate in territorio francese dopo le rettifiche di confine avvenute nel 1947 in forza del Trattato di Parigi. Rimangono numerosi resti delle opere militari, visitate ogni anno da centinaia di persone.
Il Bunk3r in questione si tratta della postazione di Corna Rossa. Verso il fondo della piana del Giaset, non lontano dalla carrellabile e dai ricoveri, si trova il massiccio denominato "Corna Rossa". Al suo interno poco prima del secondo conflitto mondiale è stata realizzata un'opera in caverna con entrata defilata verso est e due postazioni ricavate nella parte S-Ovest.
La sua ubicazione di fronte ai ricoveri del Giaset permetteva di controllare la zona ricoveri e la strada evitando eventuali infiltrazioni nemiche.
Si raccomanda la massima prudenza, trattandosi di un'opera in stato di abbandono da più di mezzo secolo.
Il cache contiene il logbook, una matita, e bicicletta bmx.. Per preservare il più a lungo possibile il cache, rimettere a posto il contenitore esattamente nella posizione iniziale.

The Col du Mont Cenis over the centuries has had a great military importance. With the cession of Savoy to France (1860) became the border crossing between France and Italy. It saw the creation of major fortifications that had to defend access to step from a possible enemy action directed towards the Susa Valley, gateway to the Po Valley.
In 1874-80 the Italian Royal Army created the Military Plaza Mont Cenis, made up of stone forts Cassa, Varisello and Roncia. To these they added other important forts and batteries, as the battery Pattacroce and defensive Malamot Barracks, built on top of the mountain of the same name. The French, in turn, built on a hill at the border of the old Fort de la Turra. In the early years of the twentieth century the hill saw the construction of the two batteries battleships La Court and Paradiso. In the thirties, under the Fascist regime, the works were carried out in the cave of the Alpine Valley.
All of these fortifications are passed in France after the boundary adjustments that took place in 1947 under the Treaty of Paris. There remain a number of ruins of military works, visited each year by hundreds of people.
The Bunk3r in question is the location of the Red Horns. Towards the end of the plain of Giaset, not far fromthe path, is the peak called "Horns Red". On the inside just before the Second World War was carried out work in secluded cave entrance to the east and two stations obtained in the S-West.
The locatio,n in front of Giaset permitted the control of the area and the road to avoid any enemy infiltration.
Today the bunker is abandoned, but the visit is possible, with great caution, as it is a building in state of disrepair for more than half a century.
In the cache there are the logbook, a monster, the pencil and a bmx. To preserve for as long as possible the cache, replace the container exactly into the initial position.
