Mondays in Manassas (Cold Moon) Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

Joan&Gene&Andrea: For the record:

Twelve hardy geocachers braved the freezing weather to spend an evening together at Firehouse Subs. Knitbead brought sweets packaged in hand-made boxes, and Invaluable1 brought a selection of geocaching swag she fabricated using a laser. A writer from the Prince William Living magazine spent the evening with us gathering information on an upcoming article on geocaching in Prince William County. Be sure to check out February's edition. In January we'll venture a mile up Sudley Road to the Five Guys Burgers just north of I-66.

Geocache Description:

Native Americans named the months by the name they gave to each month's moon.  December's moon is traditionally called "Cold Moon" or sometimes "Long Nights Moon."  As we edge closer to winter and the days become longer and colder, this month we'll meet at Firehouse Subs to share our geocaching experiences and our plans for the coming year.  Everyone is welcome.   Be sure to bring your appetite, your geocaching stories, and trackables to share.   Don't forget to dress warm... it's cold out there.

Location:  Firehouse Subs

Date:  Monday, December 8, 2014.

Time:  5:30pm until 8ish.

Please note: If you think you will not arrive until after 7:00pm, please post this with your "will attend" log. Sometimes the group breaks up early. If we know you are coming late, we will be sure to wait for you. Thanks!
