Hope you enjoyed the day!
So for all the information...
The meeting place for the day will be the car park, coords above, where there is plenty of free car parking. The area that we will be working on is a short walk within the Forest see waypoint.
Explore Kent staff will be there to give a health and safety brief and supply all tools and gloves needed. If you have steel toe boots, then they are recommended. There are some available to be borrowed if needed, but sizes are limited. Sturdy boots should suffice anyway.
Children will not be able to assist, but they will likely be at school anyway!
As it is in January, it is likely to be cold, possibly wet, so please dress as weather condition allow. There is no building or shelter other than the forest itself. And toilet facilities are au naturale!
Teas and Coffees etc will be provided, but please bring some lunch or snacks as you require.
The start time is 10am with finish for lunch around 1pm
Explore Kent is looking for max 15 persons due to insurance limts and regulations.
Before or after the CITO you may like to entertain yourselves with some of the nearby caches. And there may be some more caches published within the forest, pending permissions.
