During the Second World War it was marooned on the air base which was part of the 388th Bombardment Group flying B17s. In the 1980s it was restored sympathetically and became a private house, commanding a view over the Little Ouse valley and across to the ruined church of Gasthorpe.
You can park in a field opening a few metres downhill from the cache.
